Working in the web application
- Create a shortcut with its target: a place in the suite (your free/busy page, a calendar link, a contacts link, a share, a folder in Files), one of the suite's applications, or an external address. The target is checked the same way the server checks it, so a target the server would refuse is refused here with the server's own message.
- Edit, delete, copy and use links from the list. A shortcut's path is
/s/<id>; copying it gives the address on this origin. - Destinations are recognised from the path alone — no round trip — so a shortcut to your calendar's booking page, your shares or an app opens what it names.
What to know
- A shortcut works signed out as far as its target does: a public destination (a free/busy page, a booking page) opens for anyone with the link; one to your files does not.
- Keyboard shortcuts — the keys you press inside the applications — are something else, and live in Preferences → Keyboard shortcuts.
