Manual

How the suite works, for the person using it.

Written from the same documents the code is held to — the full design documents live in the source repository, and these pages restate them for the person using the suite, not the person running it.

Chapters

The manual grows with the release. Each chapter is written from the same documents the code is held to, in the source repository.

Mail

Addresses, mailboxes and aliases; any client over JMAP or IMAP; sending with an undo window; conversations, tags, rules, vacation replies, delivery targets and search; a task made straight from a message; how your data stays out-reachable.

First chapter — live

Photos

Your Pictures folder as one library, albums, editing, sharing and album export — every picture an ordinary file.

Live

Notes

Notes that sync with Apple Notes on iPhone, iPad and Mac; checklists, images, Markdown and offline.

Live

Calendar

Scheduling, free-busy, reminders, booking, external calendars and public links, sharing by handle.

Live

Contacts

Address books, groups and the group directory, photos, duplicate handling, sharing and delegation.

Live

Files

Drives, versions and trash, sharing, external links and short links, guests.

Live

Accounts

Getting in, the account page, approvals, preferences, the Shares page.

Live

Meet

Video meetings the suite owns: a lobby with moderators, hosts, a full timeline — and a link that survives a change of media server.

Live

Tasks

Lists, smart lists, subtasks and reminders over JMAP for Tasks; VTODO in your CalDAV lists, so Apple Reminders and Thunderbird see the same store.

Live

Forms

Forms people fill in: nine question kinds, a link or named answerers, responses read and exported as ODS or XLSX.

Live

Booking

A page outsiders use to ask for time in your calendar — nothing is booked until you confirm.

Live

Preview

A file shown the way the browser can draw it — images, PDF, text, messages, calendars, contacts. Nothing is rendered on a server.

Live

Shortcuts

The suite's short links: /s/<id> paths to your free/busy page, a booking page, a share, an app or an external address.

Live

Import

Bringing mail, files, calendars and contacts over from a previous provider — read-only at the source, resumable, never a sync.

Live

Share and collaborate

The sharing model once: accounts or links, the read · read-write · upload-only ladder, and where the sharing stops.

Live

Administration

The console, the setup wizard, domains and DNS, mail operations, the doctor.

Live

Migration

Moving in from another provider: connectors, the read-only guarantee, resumption, the wizard.

Something the manual does not answer yet? The security page holds the posture and its limits; the source repository holds everything, in full — the design documents under docs/.

Start with the suite itself.
